Just Listen Sessions: Authors & Artists — a live, offstage series of intimate conversations designed to deepen the fan experience. The sessions will take place at the Winnetka Chapel when the fest opens on Friday, June 20 at 5pm.
The sessions are in collaboration with Winnetka's renowned local independent bookstore The Book Stall, and will include two separate panel discussions:
SESSION 1: A ROUNDTABLE WITH ACCLAIMED MUSIC JOURNALISTS
Selena Fragassi, music journalist & author of "Alanis: 30 Days of Jagged Little Pill" (release date July 2025)
Annie Zaleski, NYT/WSJ music journalist & author of "I Got You Babe: A Celebration of Cher" (release date July 2025)
Paul Natkin, Chicago’s legendary music photojournalist and author of "Natkin" a pictorial coffee table book of rock & roll artists he's photographed
SESSION 2: A CONVERSATION WITH THREE ARTISTS
A heartfelt, unplugged conversation among 3 artists (at different stages of their careers) about the creative journey — how imposter syndrome, doubt, and courage show up at every chapter. Check back for artists!
